Heidi Hill
Head Coach
Heidi Hill is in her 23rd season as BHS Head Fastpitch Softball Coach. When Heidi joined the Brandon team in their premature 2nd season, She brought them from a 2 game win the previous season to winning over 20 games every season. Under Coach Hill’s instruction the team has made the playoffs every season for 18 seasons with the exception of a few. They have competed in the North State Championship game in 2006 and the South State Championship game in 2010 and again in 2017. Several of the players have gone on to play collegiate softball after leaving Brandon which makes Coach Hill extremely proud. The team has also had several players represent Brandon in the MAC High School All-Star game over the last 19 years.

Coach Grant Hill is entering his second season as assistant fast pitch softball coach at BHS. He graduated from West Lauderdale High School in 2012. He continued his baseball career at Meridian Community College for two years. Coach Hill then transferred to the University of Mississippi where he completed his degree in Exercise Science. While at Ole Miss, he coached baseball at Lafayette High School. He spent this past year coaching both football and baseball at Union High School. Coach Hill is married to Paige Hill, who is currently attending Pharmacy school at UMMC.

Taylor Hughes
Assistant Coach
Coach Hughes is in her second season as BHS Assistant Fastpitch Softball Coach. She is a fifth year teacher and coach. Coach Hughes was previously at Northwest Rankin where she coached softball and taught PE at Oakdale Elementary. Coach Hughes is excited to be here and see what the future has in store for Brandon Softball. She is a graduate of Delta State University where she was the catcher for DSU softball for four years on scholarship. Coach Hughes has a bachelors in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Kent Wyatt HPER Award.
