Coach Candace Foster, a Jackson native, was a member of the Murrah program that won 3 consecutive state championships. She continued her playing career at MSU, where she would become a 3 time All SEC Academic Team selection. She becomes the head coach of the Lady Bulldogs after spending one season as an assistant under Stephanie Murphy.

Taylor Beverly



Taylor Beverly is entering her first year as BHS Head Coach of the 9th Grade Basketball Team and Assistant Coach to the Varsity Team. A native of Brandon, Mississippi, Taylor graduated from Northwest Rankin High School, where she played basketball and was apart of the 2011 State Championship Team. As a collegiate athlete, she was a power forward where she went to The University of Montevallo being selected as All-Conference player of the PBC where she later transferred to The University of West Georgia, and was selected as All-GSC and 1st Team All-Conference. Taylor graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. She looks forward to her 1st Season coaching the Lady Bulldogs.

Reshonda Dantzler

Reshonda Dantzler returns to her alma mater, entering her 4th year of coaching and her 2nd year serving as the varsity assistant basketball coach at Brandon High School. She is 2007 graduate of Brandon High School where she excelled in the classroom as well as on the basketball court.  Coach Dantzler attended Mississippi Valley State University where she earned her degree in Mathematics. She later attended Belhaven University and earned a Masters in Education. She is the proud mother of Mason Dantzler.
